B coils designed for a tight vape

The B MTL coils from Geekvape are the MTL variant of the B family: same base, but a mesh coil tuned for low power. MTL means mouth-to-lung inhalation: you hold the vapour in your mouth first, then inhale it, exactly like a cigarette. This narrow draw concentrates the flavours and pairs well with nicotine salts.

Three values, three sensations

• 0.6ohm (15 to 25W): an airy MTL that comes close to a restricted direct-to-lung (RDL) draw
• 0.8ohm (12 to 16W): the value originally fitted in the Z Nano MTL
• 1.2ohm (8 to 12W): the tightest draw in the range, at very low power

Allow 20 to 30ml of e-liquid per coil according to Geekvape, a figure that varies with how often you vape.

Compatibility

They are fitted as standard in the Z Nano MTL tank: for this model, Geekvape only lists the B MTL. They also fit the Z Nano 2 and the Z Nano 3, so the Aegis Mini 2 and Aegis Mini 5 kits, the pod of the Aegis Force pod kit, as well as the H45, the Aegis Hero 5, the B60 and the Aegis Boost 3. Frequently asked questions

What is the difference from the 1.2ohm of the classic B Series?

The value is the same, but they are two different parts: the B MTL 1.2ohm works between 8 and 12W, the classic between 10 and 14W. Set your device according to the box of the installed coil.

How do I prepare a B MTL before vaping?

Fill the tank, wait a few minutes for the cotton to soak up e-liquid, then draw two or three times without firing the heating. Then start at the bottom of the recommended range and go up in small steps.
