E-Liquids

How to choose your e-liquid

Choosing an e-liquid comes down to answering three questions: which bottle size, which nicotine strength, and which flavour family. The answers depend mostly on your hardware and how much you vape.

Which bottle size should I choose?

The size of an e-liquid depends on how much you vape. If you are starting out or change flavour often, a 10ml e-liquid with its nicotine strength already set avoids any fiddling about. If you regularly vape the same recipe, a 50ml shortfill gives you more life for a better price per litre. The 100ml e-liquid takes this reasoning further, and large size e-liquids suit vapers who buy rarely, in quantity.

Nicotine shot or bottle already at strength?

An e-liquid already at strength, like most 10ml e-liquids, is vaped straight from the bottle. An e-liquid sold in 0mg, common in the 50ml and 100ml sizes, gets one or more nicotine shots before use: you shake the bottle, then leave it to rest for a few minutes before filling the tank.

Which flavour family should I choose?

Fruity flavours dominate the catalogue, with recipes like Crazy Mango, Dragon Killer or Sea Star from Fruizee, Explosive Melon from A&L, or Freezy Grapes and Grapple Apple from Fcukin' Flava. For a fresher vape, menthol recipes like Icee Mint from Fruizee or Cool Watermelon from Vampire Vape cool the heat in your mouth. Dessert flavours go for sweetness, with Crème Kong and Cookie Dough Salted Caramel from Joe's Juice, or Triple Biscuit and Sky Cola from Chubbiz Gourmand.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a bottle of e-liquid last?

A bottle of e-liquid lasts from a few days to several weeks depending on its size and how much you vape. A 10ml e-liquid is soon finished for a regular vaper, while a 50ml shortfill or a 100ml e-liquid lasts several weeks on the same recipe.

Can you vape an e-liquid without nicotine?

Yes, a 0mg e-liquid is vaped with no nicotine at all, purely for the flavour and the vapour. It is also the base format of the 50ml and 100ml bottles sold ready for a nicotine shot, for anyone who prefers to set their own nicotine strength.

What is the difference between a fruity e-liquid and a dessert one?

A fruity e-liquid reproduces the taste of fresh fruit, alone or in a blend, like Crazy Mango. A dessert e-liquid is closer to a pastry or a sweet drink, like Praliné & Cream. Both families are vaped on the same hardware, only the taste in the mouth changes.

Does e-liquid keep for a long time?

E-liquid keeps for several months away from light and heat, with the bottle tightly closed. Once opened, it is best finished within the following months: the flavour fades over time, especially on fresh or menthol recipes.
