Aegis Force: a single device for two ways of vaping

The Aegis Force pod kit from Geekvape is for those who don't want to choose between vapour and a cigarette-like feel. With the wide mouthpiece and a low-value coil, it produces dense vapour in direct-to-lung inhalation (DL). With the MTL mouthpiece and a B MTL coil, it switches to a tight vape in mouth-to-lung inhalation, where the vapour stays in the mouth first. Its zinc alloy body, about 128mm tall, gives a firm grip without weighing down the pocket.

The built-in 3,200mAh battery leaves a reserve for the day and power goes up to 80W. Geekvape's AS 4.0 chip keeps a steady result, even at the end of the charge. Two modes are offered: Smart, which chooses the power for you, and Power, where you set it yourself on the 0.96-inch colour screen. The 5ml pod fills from the top, its air inlet located at the top helps avoid leaks, and the A-Lock switch blocks the button when the device travels in a bag.

Compatibility

The Force pod accepts all Geekvape B coils. For vapour, take the B Boost coils 5 Pack (from 0.15 to 0.6ohm) or the B Series coils 5 Pack; for a tight vape, the B MTL coils 5 Pack in 0.8ohm or 1.2ohm. A spare pod? The empty Force pods 2 Pack are supplied without coils. The same coils fit the Aegis H45 Classic pod kit.

Frequently asked questions

Which coil should I choose to start?

If you are coming off cigarettes, fit a B MTL 1.2ohm with the MTL mouthpiece and set between 8 and 12W. For more vapour, keep the supplied 0.4ohm, intended for 25 to 35W.

Do I need to change the pod at the same time as the coil?

No. It is the coil that wears out: replace it as soon as the taste drops. The pod can be kept as long as it stays clean and in good condition.

Is charging fast?

Geekvape claims about 40 minutes to go from 0 to 80% battery, through the USB-C port (5V / 2A).
