How do I choose replacement glass?

The glass is the tube that holds the e-liquid on a tank or atomizer: it is the part most exposed to drops, and the only one that can break without the rest of the device being at fault.

Spotting the right model

A glass is only compatible with one specific tank, and sometimes with a single generation of that model. At Geekvape, the Z Nano 2, the Z Nano 3 and the Z Nano MTL look alike but are not interchangeable, just like the Zeus Nano 3.5ml and the Zeus 5.5ml. The full name of the tank, shown on its original box or on its body, remains the safest guide.

Straight or bubble: which shape should I choose?

A straight glass keeps the diameter of the tank along its whole height, for a slim profile. A bubble glass (rounded) widens the tank in the middle: the capacity goes up without changing the thread or the base of the tank, at the cost of a slightly wider profile.

Which capacity for which use?

Our glass ranges from 2ml to 8ml. A small capacity, around 2ml to 3ml, is enough for occasional vaping and keeps the device compact. Above 5ml, like the Zeus Sub Ohm 5 7ml or the TFV16 / TFV18 No.9, refills are further apart, which suits more sustained direct-to-lung vaping.

Broken glass: how to limit breakage and how to replace it

Glass mostly cracks when dropped on a hard surface or when screwed too tightly onto its base. To replace it, just unscrew the cracked tank and fit the new glass without forcing the thread: the rest of the tank, coil included, can be reused as it is.

How do I know if a glass is compatible with my tank?

A glass is compatible when its name matches the name of the tank exactly, generation included. The table by brand above and the shop's Brand filter let you check the product before you buy.

Can I replace a broken glass without throwing away the tank?

Yes, a broken glass can be replaced on its own: the base, the coil and the drip tip of the tank stay usable. Only the glass tube unscrews and is changed.

Why is my new glass leaking after installation?

A glass that leaks just after installation almost always has a seal that has not been put back properly or a fill right to the brim. Screw the base back on without forcing it and leave a small air bubble at the top of the tank.

Does a bubble glass change the taste of the vape?

No, a bubble glass does not change the taste: its rounded shape only increases the capacity of the tank, while the coil and the airflow stay those of the original tank.
