Eleaf EC-A Replacement Coils - 5 Pack

The EC-A coil, for the most recent Melo generation

This pack of five coils from the EC-A platform equips the current generation of Eleaf Melo tanks. It screws in within seconds in place of the worn head, with no special tools.

Compatibility

Compatible with: the Melo 6 Tank, as well as the Melo 4S, Melo 3 and Melo 5 (not currently sold by Byclope), and the iJust S kit.

Not compatible with: the Melo X, which needs its own EC-D coil, nor the original Melo and Melo 2, which use the classic EC coil.

Choosing the right value

Three values are available: 0.15, 0.3 and 0.5ohm. The lowest value suits an airier vape with more vapour, while 0.5ohm keeps a softer, more economical draw. In practice, the simplest is to reorder the same value as the one already installed if it suited you.

Before the first puff

As with any new coil, let it soak in e-liquid for five to ten minutes before the first puff. The cotton needs this time to become fully wet, otherwise you risk a burnt taste from the first uses.
