Legend 3: unlocking as you pick it up

The Aegis Legend 3 box mod from Geekvape keeps the protected chassis of the Aegis range and adds a sensor on the back: with your palm resting on it, the fire button responds; left on a table, the box stays inert. It runs on two 18650 batteries (not supplied) and delivers 5 to 200W, a range that suits a restricted-draw tank (RDL, a little more open than a cigarette) as well as a sub ohm tank built for direct-to-lung inhalation (DL).

MEMORY mode saves up to five configurations: handy if you alternate between two tanks or two e-liquids. ECO mode moderates consumption, and the AS Chip 4.0 keeps a stable output even as the batteries drain. Fast charging at 5V / 3A goes through the USB-C port.

In the Aegis Legend 3 kit, Geekvape supplies the box with the Z Fli tank, which accepts Z Series coils and Z XM Boost. The Z Fli 2 works with the same coils. Any other tank with a 510 connector also screws onto the box: make your choice in the tanks section.

How do I use the Legend 3 with gloves?

Select the Unlock setting: all the buttons stay active without going through the hand sensor, even with covered hands.

Which batteries do I need?

Two flat-top 18650 batteries, of the same model and charged to the same level. They are not sold with the box.

What does the Legend 3 offer over the Legend 2?

Smart Lock locking and MEMORY mode, which the Legend 2 lacks. Both boxes go up to 200W on two 18650 batteries and are IP68 certified.
