The flip cap, reworked to go the distance

The Z Fli 2 tank from Geekvape takes up the idea of the first Z Fli: a hinged cap that you lift with a finger to reveal the filling port, then fold back down. On this second version, the brand has reinforced the closure, which clips shut firmly, and tested it over more than 3000 openings. The body also gets a pattern inspired by damascus steel.

It suits direct-to-lung (DL) inhalation, where the vapour is inhaled in one go to the lungs, as well as the more restrained restricted direct-to-lung draw (RDL) when you close the airflow. The airflow is at the top and can be dosed precisely. The tank holds 5.5ml at 29mm diameter, and the two Z XM mesh coils supplied cover an airy vape as well as a calmer one.

Compatibility

The Z Fli 2 accepts the whole Z family: the Z Series coils 5 Pack as well as the Z XM Boost coils 5 Pack. If the glass cracks, the Zeus 5.5ml glass is the right model. To go with it, choose a box that goes up to 85W in the box mods section, or compare it with the other tanks.

Frequently asked questions

What changes compared with the first Z Fli?

The capacity and the coils supplied remain identical. The flip cap has been reinforced to lock better, the finish moves to the damascus pattern and the colours are no longer the same.

What power with the installed coil?

Geekvape recommends 70 to 85W for the Z XM 0.15ohm. The Z XM 0.4ohm is set lower: start at moderate power and increase gradually.

Will it overhang my box?

Its 29mm slightly overhangs a box that is 26mm wide. This is purely visual: the 510 thread screws in the same way.
