Armour toughness in a single-battery box mod

The Armour S box mod from Vaporesso is the single-battery version of the Armour range. It is sold on its own, without a tank or battery: you fit a 21700, or an 18650 thanks to the adapter already housed inside, then screw the tank of your choice onto the 510 connection. A full TPU sleeve, a soft and resistant material, absorbs knocks and prevents scratches.

The AXON chipset sets power from 5 to 100W and offers several vaping characters. Active by default, F(t) mode modulates the heating as you draw to reveal the flavours; Pulse keeps a steady output; Eco saves the battery; the temperature control modes handle nickel, titanium and stainless steel. For transport, slide the fire button upwards: it locks. The 0.96-inch TFT screen also keeps a history of your puffs over the last five days.

Which tank and which battery should you choose?

Vaporesso also offers the Armour S with the iTank T: that is the Armour S kit. To build your own set, the iTank T tank, the iTank T Dual Mesh or the iTank 2 work with the GTi coils, recognised by the Smart function, which suggests the right power. Frequently asked questions

Does the Armour S box mod accept an 18650 battery?

Yes. It is designed for a 21700, and the supplied adapter lets you fit an 18650. Leave it in place for an 18650, remove it for a 21700.

Can the Armour S box mod be charged over USB-C?

Yes, at 5V / 2A, with the battery in the box mod. The screen then shows the charge level and the time remaining. An external charger is still useful if you rotate several batteries.
