The Swag II, a single-battery box mod that sticks to the essentials

The Swag II box mod from Vaporesso fits in a volume of 50 x 25 x 75mm. Its rubberised coating makes it light, soft to the touch and less sensitive to small knocks. It runs on an 18650 battery, not supplied, and takes a tank of up to 25mm diameter on its 510 connection. It is a simple base for discovering box mod vaping, or a second device to leave at the office or at home.

Power is set from 5 to 80W and stays readable on a 0.91-inch OLED screen. The AXON chipset starts in Pulse mode, designed for steady vapour; when the battery drops below 40%, the box mod offers you Eco mode to extend the session. Experienced vapers also get temperature control for stainless steel, titanium and nickel wire, variable voltage, a custom power curve and a bypass mode. Note that charging goes through a micro-USB port and not USB-C: keep the original cable to hand.

Which tank should you pair it with?

Choose a tank of 25mm diameter at most. The VM Tank, available in 22mm and 25mm, and the 24.5mm iTank T Dual Mesh tank fall within this limit. Is the Swag II sold with a battery?

No. Provide an 18650 battery suitable for box mods. You can recharge it directly in the Swag II through its micro-USB port, or in an external charger.

Can I fit a rebuildable atomizer on the Swag II?

Yes. In Super Player mode, the box mod accepts builds from 0.03ohm to 5ohm. Just check that the base of the atomizer does not exceed 25mm.
