The Armour S, Armour protection with a single battery

The Armour S kit from Vaporesso carries the rugged spirit of the range in a slimmer format than the Armour Max. It runs on a single battery, either 21700 or 18650 thanks to the supplied adapter, bought separately. It is a good starting point if you are discovering direct-to-lung inhalation (DL) and prefer to manage just one battery, while keeping up to 100W under your thumb.

The box mod is fully dressed in TPU, a soft material that absorbs knocks and limits scratches. A single button is used both to vape and to lock the device, and the battery door opens with a simple press. On the iTank T, the cap slides to fill the 6ml from the top, while a graduated ring sets the air that also enters through the top of the tank. The AXON chipset offers the F(t), Pulse and Eco modes and temperature control.

Coils and accessories for the iTank T

To replace the coils in the kit, take the GTi coils sold in packs of 5: the 0.5ohm brings a calmer draw at around 30 to 40W, whereas the 0.15ohm needs 75 to 90W. Which battery should I choose for the Armour S kit?

A 21700 generally offers more capacity; an 18650 also finds its place thanks to the supplied adapter. In both cases, Vaporesso recommends a battery able to deliver at least 25A.

Is the Armour S suitable for a tight vape?

No, the iTank T and its GTi coils are made for direct inhalation. For a draw close to a cigarette, look instead at the GTX One Pro kit.
