Rover Plus: a complete mini box mod with the AF Tank

The Rover Plus kit from Aspire brings together a compact built-in battery box mod and the AF Tank, screwed onto a standard 510 connector. It is aimed at vapers leaving pods who want a real box mod, with its settings, without managing batteries. The Carbon kit is recognisable by its carbon-fibre-effect panels.

The 2600mAh battery charges over USB-C (2A). The box delivers 5 to 40W and offers several modes: power (WATT), voltage (VOLTAGE), BYPASS, temperature control (Ni, Ti, SS) and custom curve (CPS). The 0.96 inch TFT colour screen shows the settings and its brightness is adjustable.

The AF Tank fills from the top and sets its airflow with a ring at the top; its 510 tip can be replaced with one of your choice. It uses AF coils: the 0.4ohm, fitted as standard, gives abundant vapour in direct-to-lung (DL, the vapour goes straight to the lungs); the supplied 0.6ohm tightens the draw towards RDL. With a 1ohm, you get mouth-to-lung (MTL), close to a cigarette.

No, the battery is built into the box and charges with the supplied USB-C cable.

Which coil should I start with?

If you are quitting cigarettes, an AF 1ohm coil, sold separately, gives the tightest draw. The kit's 0.6ohm remains a good compromise; the 0.4ohm is for those looking for plenty of vapour.

Can I put another tank on the box?

Yes, the connection is 510. Just check that the coil of the chosen tank works within the box's 5 to 40W range.
