Vaporesso Armour Octa Kit

The Armour Octa kit, 220W under a waterproof shell

The Armour Octa kit from Vaporesso is for direct-to-lung (DL, the vapour goes straight into the lungs) fans who want complete, ready-to-use gear able to keep up with an active life. The box mod runs on two 18650 batteries, bought separately, and delivers 5 to 220W. It arrives fitted with the 6ml iTank T tank, which spaces out trips to the bottle.

On toughness, the box mod meets IP6X ratings against dust, IPX8 for immersion at one metre for 30 minutes and IPX9K against pressurised water jets; it has also passed 1.2-metre drop tests. Its silicone surface, inspired by motorbike grips, keeps a good hold even with damp hands. The AXON 3.0 chipset offers a Boost mode that evens out power during the puff, and an automatic cut-off stops heating if the button stays pressed for about ten seconds.

Frequently asked questions

Are the batteries supplied with the Armour Octa kit?

No. Provide two 18650 batteries of the same model, always used together and at the same charge level. Once installed, they recharge in the box mod using the USB-C cable.

What power should I choose with the original coils?

The GTi Dual Mesh 0.2ohm, fitted at the factory, is set from 60 to 75W for thick vapour. The 0.4ohm works from 50 to 60W and offers a slightly more restrained puff.
