Huracan EX: a set cut out for direct-to-lung vaping

The Huracan EX kit from Aspire brings together the Huracan EX box mod and the Huracan Tank. It is for vapers who practise direct-to-lung (DL) inhalation: the vapour goes straight to the lungs, with a wide draw and plenty of vapour. If you are looking for a tight, cigarette-style draw (MTL), this kit is not the right choice: look at a pod instead.

The box runs on an 18650 battery, which you choose yourself and replace in seconds thanks to the hatch. It also charges over 2A USB-C. Its zinc alloy body is covered with a soft textured coating that is pleasant to touch. The Huracan Tank fills from the top by unscrewing the cover. It uses BP mesh coils from 0.15 to 0.3ohm, made for power of 30 to 100W.

Compatibility

The Huracan Tank takes the BP Replacement Coils - 5 Pack in BP Pro 0.15, 0.15, 0.17 and 0.3ohm only: the 0.4, 0.6 and 1ohm values in the same pack do not suit it. Frequently asked questions

Which BP coil should I choose on the Huracan Tank?

The 0.3ohm (30 to 40W) is the most economical in e-liquid and battery. The 0.17ohm (45 to 55W) gives more vapour. The two 0.15ohm go higher: 60 to 80W for the BP Mesh, 80 to 100W for the BP Pro.

Why is the airflow at the top?

On the Huracan Tank, air enters from the top then travels down to the coil. Aspire chose this design to keep the air inlets away from the liquid and limit leaks.

Can I use the box with another tank?

Yes, thanks to the 510 connection. Just match the power to the coil of your tank.
