A cap that does not open by chance

The Z Subohm SE tank from Geekvape stands out from the other Zeus tanks with its child safety. To reach the filling port, you have to press the top cap while turning it to the right: a double gesture designed to discourage children, which also prevents accidental opening at the bottom of a bag. If your gear sometimes lies within reach of small hands, this is the model in the series to favour.

For the rest, the Zeus spirit is there: a direct-to-lung (DL) vape, where the vapour is pulled in one go to the lungs, an adjustable airflow at the top to keep the e-liquid away from the air inlets, and a 5.5ml tank. It measures 29mm in diameter by 51.9mm tall and weighs 76g. The installed coil, a 0.15ohm Z XM, has a reinforced mesh core whose life Geekvape says is doubled.

Compatibility

The Z Subohm SE uses coils from the Z family: the Z Series coils 5 Pack to get back the original values, the Z XM Boost coils 5 Pack for a reinforced coil. The glass is replaced with the Zeus 5.5ml glass. For power, a box capable of 85W will do, to be chosen among the box mods.

How do I open the cap?

Press the cap and, without releasing the pressure, turn it to the right: the filling port is freed.

What is the difference from the original Zeus Sub-Ohm?

The first-generation Zeus Sub-Ohm is shorter, holds 5ml and has no lock. The SE gains half a millilitre, child safety and a factory-fitted XM coil. For a flip cap without a lock, see the Z Fli 2 instead.

What power for the coils supplied?

Geekvape recommends 70 to 85W for the Z XM 0.15ohm and 50 to 60W for the Z 0.4ohm.
