The EUC principle: you only replace the core

The EUC coils from Vaporesso take their name from "Eco Universal Coil", printed on their box. The heating part is a small head housed in a metal sleeve that you keep: at replacement time, only this head goes in the bin. Less waste, and a replacement that costs less. Each pack contains 5 coils of the value chosen.

0.3ohm or 1ohm: two ways of vaping

• 0.3ohm, from 35 to 40W: airy draw for direct-to-lung inhalation (DL), where the vapour goes down in one go into the lungs, with a well-supplied cloud
• 1ohm, at low power, from about ten watts: tight draw for mouth-to-lung inhalation (MTL), in the mouth then the lungs as with a cigarette, with a more discreet vapour

EUC coils fit the tanks of the Veco family, including the Veco Plus (its Veco Plus replacement glass is also in the shop), as well as the VM Tank. Frequently asked questions

How do I install a new EUC coil?

Empty then take apart the tank and replace the worn head with a new one. Let a few drops of e-liquid fall on the cotton visible through the opening, reassemble, fill, then give the wick a good five minutes before the first puff.

I'm switching from the 1ohm to the 0.3ohm: what should I adjust?

Raise the power of your box mod clearly, open the air inlet and choose an e-liquid designed for direct inhalation, often richer in vegetable glycerine (VG). In the other direction, lower the power before screwing in the 1ohm.
