The Aegis Solo 3 with a removable battery

The Aegis Solo 3 kit from Geekvape runs on a flat-top 18650 battery, sold separately. This version will please vapers who already own batteries or who want to slip a spare into their pocket: when the battery life drops, you change the battery and you are off again. If you prefer to manage nothing, choose the Aegis Solo 3 3000mAh kit with built-in battery instead.

For the rest, both versions are identical. The box climbs to 100W, driven by the AS 4.0 chipset, with a 0.96-inch screen and six modes: Smart, Power, Boosting, Memory, Eco and TCR. The IP68 standard protects it from water, dust and knocks. The Zeus Sub-Ohm 2021 tank holds 5.5ml of e-liquid, opens from the top and draws air in from above to stop the e-liquid running out. It is set up for direct-to-lung (DL) inhalation, where the vapour is breathed decisively into the lungs, and not held in the mouth as in MTL.

Compatibility

Which battery should I buy?

An 18650 battery with flat ends, as Geekvape specifies. It can be charged in the box via the USB-C port (5V / 2A).

Which coil for which use?

Installed as standard, the Z 0.2ohm (70 to 80W) produces abundant vapour. The Z 0.4ohm (50 to 60W) is happy with less power, which spares the battery.
