The Wenax Q Mini, the stripped-back version of the Wenax Q

The Wenax Q Mini pod kit is an older model in the Wenax range from Geekvape, designed for vaping without setting anything. No screen, no power to set: the device fires by itself when you inhale on the mouthpiece. Its long, slim format fits easily in a pocket.

The illuminated X on the front serves as a gauge. It breathes green between 70 and 100% battery, blue between 31 and 69%, then red below 30%: that is the signal to plug in the USB-C cable. The built-in battery is 1,000mAh and power tops out at 25W.

A four-position airflow

The real setting of the Wenax Q Mini is the air inlet. Geekvape describes four notches:

• air inlets all closed for a very tight MTL
• one hole open for a classic MTL
• two holes open for a softer MTL
• fully open for a restricted direct draw (RDL)

MTL, or mouth-to-lung inhalation, means holding the vapour in the mouth before inhaling it, like a cigarette. RDL lets more air through for a more direct inhale. To fill, just remove the mouthpiece and pour the liquid in from the top of the pod.

Compatible pods

No, it shows the charge only through the colour of its logo. To follow power or puff count, the Wenax Q has an OLED screen.

Can I fit a 0.4ohm pod?

No, this value is not intended by Geekvape on this model. Stay with 0.6, 0.8 or 1.2ohm, or move to the Wenax Q2, which accepts it.
