An MTL pod with the build of a box mod

The Armour G pod kit from Vaporesso brings the character of the Armour range to a pod format. Its built-in 3,000mAh battery and power adjustable from 5 to 80W make it a long-lasting device, with no cells to buy. This version comes with the MTL pod, for mouth-to-lung inhalation: the vapour goes through the mouth first, as with a cigarette. It is a logical step for anyone who finds small pods too limited in battery life.

The 5ml pod fills from the top by lifting a silicone plug, and the air inlet is set by turning the top of the pod, in four steps. The installed GTX Mesh 0.6ohm coil gives a tight draw; combined with the DTL mouthpiece in the box, the 0.4ohm makes the vape airier. The 0.96-inch TFT screen shows your settings, a dedicated button locks the device, and the textured coating, a material used for some car seats, prevents slipping.

Compatible pods and coils

The pod uses the empty Armour G pods 2 Pack, shared by the Armour G and the Armour GS, and the GTX V2 coils. On the MTL pod, Vaporesso gives the values 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2ohm. What is the difference between the Armour G and the Armour GS?

The Armour G has a built-in 3,000mAh battery and a shorter format. The Armour GS works with a removable 18650 battery, sold separately. Both go up to 80W and share the same pods.

What power for the 0.4ohm coil?

Vaporesso advises 26 to 32W. Turn on the Smart function: the device then suggests a power suited to the installed GTX coil by itself.
