Wenax Q2: leather, metal and a screen to your taste

The Wenax Q2 pod kit builds on the Wenax Q from Geekvape, making it longer-lasting and more refined. Its battery goes up to 1250mAh instead of 1000mAh, its maximum power to 30W instead of 25W, and it now accepts the 0.4ohm pod. The body combines precision-machined aluminium alloy with a leather finish that feels good in the hand; a decorative film gives the top section a slight shimmer depending on the angle.

Everything runs through a single button: two presses change the screen theme (four styles to choose from), three presses scroll through the power levels, five presses switch the device on or off, and a long press turns the animation off or on. To vape, simply inhale. Charging at 5V / 2A via USB-C brings the battery back to 80% in about thirty minutes, according to Geekvape.

With Q pods, the Wenax Q2 suits both mouth-to-lung inhalation (MTL: a puff taken into the mouth then inhaled, in the spirit of a cigarette) and restricted direct-to-lung draw (RDL: more air, more vapour), depending on the value chosen.

Frequently asked questions

How do I change the power on the Wenax Q2?

Press the button three times to move from one power level to the next, up to a limit of 30W. The pod's value sets the useful range: 18 to 25W for a 0.6ohm, 12 to 18W for a 0.8ohm.

Wenax Q2 or Sonder Q3?

Both go up to 30W and use the same Q pods. The Sonder Q3 has a bigger battery; the Wenax Q2 adds a customisable screen, button power adjustment and leather and metal materials.
