A pocket box mod for tight vaping

The GTX One Pro box mod from Vaporesso is the base of the GTX One Pro kit, offered here without a tank. It is aimed at mouth-to-lung inhalation (MTL: you hold the vapour in the mouth before inhaling it, as with a cigarette) and restricted direct draw (RDL, a little more air). Its built-in 3,000mAh battery spares you the purchase and handling of cells: a USB-C cable is enough to get it back in shape.

Adjustable from 5 to 40W, it works at gentle power levels, ideal for tight-draw tanks. The AXON chipset and its Pulse mode maintain constant power, while the 0.87-inch OLED screen shows the watts, coil, battery level and puff count. A lock button prevents firing at the bottom of a pocket, and the silicone coating stays soft under the fingers.

Which tank should you choose?

The box mod accepts tanks with a 510 connection designed for moderate power. The simplest solution is the XTank T tank, the one Vaporesso pairs with this box mod in the kit. It uses the GTX V2 coils, choosing a value between 0.4 and 1.2ohm, and its XTank glass can be bought again if broken. Is it suitable for a sub ohm tank?

It is designed for MTL and RDL, with power capped at 40W. For very low coils that call for 60W and more, turn to a more powerful box mod such as the Armour Octa box mod.
