With its 0.32mm diameter, the Ni80 28 GA resistance wire from Geekvape lets you wind light coils that reach their vaping temperature in very little time. This nichrome, made of 80% nickel and 20% chromium, comes on a 30-foot spool, about 9.1 metres: more than enough to redo your builds for a long time.
A fine wire gives a higher value for the same number of wraps. That is why the 28 GA is a common choice for rebuildable atomizers designed for mouth-to-lung (MTL) inhalation: the puff is first held in the mouth, as with a cigarette, at moderate power. For coils intended for an airy vape, the thicker Ni80 26 GA wire is better suited.
Set your box to watts mode, because Ni80 is not driven in temperature control. Read the value shown on the box screen or with an ohm meter, then fit the cotton only after a really even dry burn.
