Ready-to-fit coils for MTL vaping

This MTL Fused Clapton 2-in-1 set (reference F208) from Geekvape brings together pre-wound coils to fix yourself on the deck of a rebuildable atomizer. It spares you the most meticulous step: winding a fused clapton wire, made of several straight wires side by side around which a very fine wire is wrapped. These coils are designed for mouth-to-lung (MTL) inhalation, where the vapour is first taken into the mouth before being inhaled, as with a cigarette.

Two alloys in the same box

• 4 Ni80 coils (nichrome), 0.6ohm: two 28 GA wires side by side, wrapped with a 40 GA wire.
• 4 KA1 coils (kanthal A1), 0.8ohm: two 28 GA wires wrapped with a 38 GA wire.

All measure 3mm inner diameter and have 6 wraps. You can thus try both materials on the same atomizer and keep the one whose feel you like.

Using them well

Choose an MTL rebuildable atomizer whose deck takes a coil with a 3mm inner diameter. Once the coil is fixed, check the value shown by your box, dry burn it to even out the wraps, then fit the cotton. Vape in watts mode: neither Ni80 nor KA1 is intended for temperature control. Frequently asked questions

Do these coils replace the coil of a tank?

No. They only fix onto the deck of a rebuildable atomizer. A tank works with ready-made heads, cotton included, shown in the coils section.

What is the supplied tool for?

This metal rod slides inside the coil to hold it straight while you fix it, and to realign its wraps if needed.
