The Zeus X RTA atomizer from Geekvape is a rebuildable tank atomizer (RTA). Unlike a tank with ready-made coils, it does not take a ready-to-screw-in coil: you wind your own resistance wire, fix it to the deck, then add the cotton that brings the e-liquid up to the wire. It is aimed at vapers already comfortable with an adjustable box, who want to choose their wire, their value and the feel of their vape.

Its postless deck has four terminals and accepts a single or dual coil build. It is designed for direct-to-lung (DL) inhalation, that is a puff sent directly into the lungs. Air arrives through two adjustable slots at the top, then goes down to the coils: the inlets stay away from the e-liquid, which limits leaks. The domed glass fitted as standard holds 4.5ml and a 3.5ml straight glass is supplied. The base measures 25mm, the domed glass 29mm, for a height of 47.8mm.

Wire and parts

For your next builds, the thicker Ni80 26 GA resistance wire allows low values and voluminous puffs, while the finer Ni80 28 GA resistance wire heats up faster. Cotton and wire are gathered in the cotton and wire section. If the glass breaks, the Zeus 5.5ml glass fits this atomizer. To power it, choose an adjustable box among the box mods.

Frequently asked questions

Can I fit a Z Series coil in it?

No. The Zeus X does not accept the ready-made coils of the Zeus tanks. If you only want to change a coil without building wire, turn to the Zeus Sub-Ohm 5 or the Z Fli 2.

Single or dual coil: which should I choose?

A single coil uses less e-liquid and energy. Two coils, like the pair supplied, heat a larger surface for more vapour, at higher power. In both cases, check the value read by your box before the first puff.

How do I fit the cotton?

Slide a wick into each coil, cut it level with the deck channels, then tuck in the ends without packing too tightly. Soak the cotton with e-liquid before filling the tank.
