Description
A coil to replace without starting from zero
An "alien" wire coil gets clogged and loses performance over time, like any rebuildable build. The Requiem Alien Ni80 coils from Thunder Cloud, made with El Mono Vapeador, are sold in pairs, ready to use: a thick wire wrapped with several finer strands, already formed and calibrated.
Extending their life
Rinse the coil in clean water as soon as the flavour turns dull or slightly burnt, let it dry completely before fitting it again, and replace it as soon as the wire keeps dark marks that no longer come off when rinsed.
Two values to choose from
- Parallel 0.55ohm: strands wound side by side
- Opposed 0.58ohm: strands wound in opposite directions
The deck concerned
These coils are designed for the Thunder Cloud Requiem RBA, a rebuildable deck for compatible BB devices.
