Sonder U: just draw, that's all

The Sonder U pod kit is the very first model in the Sonder series from Geekvape. It fits in the palm at 95.8mm tall and weighs only 40 grams. No key on the front: the device switches on the moment you draw on the mouthpiece, which makes it a reassuring companion for someone who has never vaped.

Inside, a built-in 1,000mAh battery and power that can reach 20W. The 2ml U pod, supplied in 0.7ohm, is transparent: the e-liquid level can be checked without taking anything apart. The draw suits mouth-to-lung inhalation (MTL), where the puff goes through the mouth before being inhaled like a cigarette, and goes up to a restricted direct draw (RDL), a little fuller. Charging is through a USB-C port.

The Sonder U works with Geekvape U pods, offered in 0.7ohm (16 to 19W) and in 1.1ohm (9 to 12W). Order them in threes with the U pods 3 Pack. Note that the brand's Q and S pods do not fit. Frequently asked questions

Which U pod should I take?

The 0.7ohm, the one in the kit, is used from 16 to 19W and produces more vapour. The 1.1ohm, between 9 and 12W, gives a softer, tighter puff.

Do Wenax U pods fit the Sonder U?

Yes: Sonder U, Wenax U and Aegis U share the same U pods.

How do I prepare a new pod?

Fill it, put it back in place and wait a few minutes before drawing: the cotton of the coil must soak to avoid a burnt taste.
