AVP Cube: a pod that is simple to set for everyday vaping

The AVP Cube pod kit from Aspire takes the form of a square-section aluminium pen, 110mm high by 22mm on each side. It is aimed first at vapers coming off cigarettes or who want a discreet device, with no complicated menus: power is chosen from four steps, from 10 to 16W, and a bypass mode sends the battery voltage straight through when the mesh coil is in place.

The 1300mAh built-in battery recharges over USB-C. The vape fires when you press the button, which avoids accidental puffs. With the AVP Pro 1.15ohm coil, the draw is tight, with mouth-to-lung inhaling (MTL, like a cigarette). The 0.65ohm mesh coil gives a rounder vapour and a slightly more open draw, with restricted direct-to-lung inhaling (RDL). The airflow adjusts to several positions, and the pod fills from the bottom through a silicone plug.
