Sonder Q2: the simple pod that has built muscle

The Sonder Q2 pod kit from Geekvape keeps the spirit of the first Sonder Q, a device you use without asking questions, and makes it more durable and more robust. The body drops plastic for an aluminium alloy, the built-in battery goes up to 1,350mAh, 35% more capacity than the original Sonder Q, and maximum power climbs to 30W. Charging is through the USB-C socket.

This pod takes the whole family of Q pods, with a built-in coil: no part to take apart, you simply replace the pod when the taste goes flat. Four values are recognised, from 0.4ohm to 1.2ohm, and the supplied pod is 0.8ohm. The airflow is adjustable: almost closed, it offers mouth-to-lung inhalation (MTL, the vapour stays a moment in the mouth before being inhaled, as with a cigarette); more open, it gives a restricted direct draw (RDL), airier and more generous in vapour.

What is the difference between the Sonder Q2 and the Sonder Q3?

The Sonder Q3 has a bigger battery (1,750mAh) and charges at 5V / 2A, against 5V / 1A for the Sonder Q2. Both go up to 30W and share the same Q pods.

Which pod value should I choose?

The 1.2ohm gives the tightest puff, at low power. The supplied 0.8ohm is a good compromise to start with. The 0.6ohm and 0.4ohm produce more vapour and are used with the airflow more open.
