Aspire Flexus Q Pod Kit

The Flexus Q, a pocket pod with express charging

The Flexus Q pod kit from Aspire is a narrow zinc alloy device that weighs 57g. It suits beginner vapers or anyone looking for a discreet second device for the day. Its built-in 700mAh battery is modest, but 3A USB-C fast charging brings the device to 80% in about ten minutes: a coffee break is enough.

The 2ml pod is removed and filled from underneath. Unlike disposable pods, it takes a replaceable AF coil: when the flavour fades, you change only the coil and keep the pod. With the 1ohm, the draw stays tight, mouth-to-lung (MTL: the vapour goes through the mouth first, as with a cigarette). The 0.6ohm opens the draw a little towards RDL, a restricted direct-to-lung. The air slider fine-tunes this setting.

A button cycles through three power levels, shown by a green, blue or red light. You vape by pressing the button or simply by drawing.

Frequently asked questions

Should I change the pod or the coil?

The coil, first: it wears out over successive fills. The pod is kept as long as it does not leak and stays clean.

Which coil should I choose on the Flexus Q?

The 1ohm for a tight draw and a nicotine-rich e-liquid, the 0.6ohm if you want a little more vapour. The 0.8ohm sits between the two.

How do I know which power level is active?

The colour of the light shows it: green for the high level, blue for the medium level, red for the soft level.
