The power of a box mod in a pod format

The Aegis B100 21700 pod kit takes the silhouette of the Aegis Boost Pro from Geekvape in a version that accepts a 21700 battery. It is aimed at vapers who like dense vapour with direct-to-lung inhalation (DL, the air goes directly into the lungs) and who want a device built for outdoor outings. According to Geekvape, the 21700 battery lasts about 50% longer than an 18650; if you already have 18650s, the adapter supplied in the box lets you use them.

Power climbs up to 100W and is shown on a 0.96-inch colour screen. The 6ml pod spaces out refills, and its airflow ring with three air inlets lets you open or close the draw. The shell mixes plastic, silicone, leather and zinc alloy; it is IP67 certified, meaning protected from dust and able to stay 30 minutes under one metre of water, and it withstands knocks. The battery recharges directly in the device through the USB-C port.

Compatibility

The pod is fitted with the P Series coils 5 Pack: the kit comes with the 0.2ohm (from 60 to 70W) and the 0.4ohm (from 50 to 60W). Which battery should I put in this kit?

A good-quality 21700 battery gives the best battery life. You can also slip an 18650 battery into the adapter supplied with the kit, with shorter battery life.

Is the B100 21700 the same device as the Aegis Boost Pro 2?

No. Geekvape uses the name B100 for two models: this kit with a 21700 battery and a 6ml pod, and the more compact Aegis Boost Pro 2, which runs on an 18650 battery. Both use P Series coils.

Can I recharge the battery without taking it out?

Yes, the USB-C port recharges the battery in the device. Don't plug in the cable if liquid has got into the port.
