The Aegis Boost Pro 2 pod kit, which Geekvape also sells under the name B100, is for vapers who want the power of a box in a device that fits in the hand. It runs on a removable 18650 battery: when it runs low, you slip in a charged battery and carry on without waiting. It is designed for direct-to-lung (DL) inhalation: the vapour goes straight into the lungs and the cloud is dense.

Power goes up to 100W and is read on a curved 0.96-inch screen. In SMART mode, the device chooses a power suited to the installed coil and caps the setting so as not to burn it; BOOST mode, by contrast, aims at high power for maximum vapour. The airflow is adjustable, air arrives from the top of the pod, a design intended to avoid leaks, and filling is from the top. The shell is IP68 certified against water and dust, the A-Lock latch blocks the button in a pocket or a bag, and charging is via the USB-C port.

Compatibility

The pod takes P Series coils 5 Pack. The kit arrives with the 0.15ohm XM, designed for 70 to 85W, whose life Geekvape says is doubled, and the 0.4ohm, for 50 to 60W. What is the difference from the Aegis B100 21700 kit?

They are two distinct devices, even though Geekvape gives both the name B100. The Aegis Boost Pro 2 takes an 18650 battery, is a little narrower, has an IP68 shell and comes with the 0.15ohm XM coil. The B100 21700 kit accepts a 21700 battery (or an 18650 thanks to the supplied adapter), sets the air with a rotating ring, carries an IP67 rating and arrives with the 0.2ohm and the 0.4ohm. What they share: P Series coils.

Which battery should I put in the Aegis Boost Pro 2?

A quality flat-top 18650 battery: Geekvape specifies that both ends must be flat for the hatch to close. Keep a second charged one for long days.

Can I use the P Series 0.5ohm coil?

Geekvape does not list it for this model: it is listed for the Obelisk 60. Stay with the values the brand intends, the 0.15ohm XM, the 0.2ohm or the 0.4ohm.
