Description
The coil for the very first RPM pod
This RPM Mesh 0.4ohm coil, sold in packs of 5, matches the very first RPM pod launched by Smok, the one found on devices such as the RPM40, the Nord 4 or the Nord X. Its mesh heating surface gives a direct draw (DL), with good vapour production from moderate power.
Three RPM pods, three formats
Since then, Smok has updated its pod twice, with the RPM2 and then the RPM3, each time with different pins and shape. This classic RPM coil therefore fits neither the Nord C Pod Kit (RPM2 coils) nor the RPM 85 Pod Kit (RPM3 coils): it is better to check your device's pod before ordering.
Priming and lifespan
Before the first puff, fill the tank and let the coil soak for a few minutes to avoid a burnt taste. Expect several days of use before changing it, as soon as the flavour fades.
