Smok TFV8 Baby / TFV12 Baby Prince No.4 Replacement Glass
Smok: don't mix up the families
At Smok, the most common buying mistake comes from almost identical names. Here are the main points to know before ordering a consumable.
RPM, RPM2 and RPM3 are not interchangeable
Each generation has its own pins. The Nord C uses RPM2 coils, the RPM 85 uses RPM3. An RPM2 coil does not fit an RPM3 pod, and vice versa.
TFV16 and TFV18: a single family
Good news, these two tanks share everything. The TFV18 accepts TFV16 coils and glass no. 9, common to both.
Numbered glass
Smok numbers its replacement glass, and each number matches one specific tank. No. 9 fits the TFV16 and TFV18, no. 2 the TFV12 Prince, no. 4 the TFV8 Baby and the TFV12 Baby Prince. Be careful: the TFV8 Baby V2 takes no. 7, not no. 4.
X-Priv kits and the TF-D SubTank
The X-Priv Solo and X-Priv Plus come with the TF-D SubTank, which works with D-Coil coils. Not to be confused with the old TF Tank, whose coil is different.
