Eleaf Melo EC Replacement Coils - 5 Pack

The first generation of Melo coils

This pack of five coils belongs to the EC platform, the very first generation of Eleaf heads, introduced with the first Melo tanks. It simply screws in place of the worn coil, with no special tools.

Compatibility

Compatible with: the original Melo and Melo 2, the iJust 2 and the Lemo 3. These devices are no longer part of Byclope's current catalogue, but if you have kept them, this coil is still the right reference for them.

Not compatible with: the Melo 4, Melo 4S, Melo 5 and Melo 6, nor the Melo X. The thread screws onto these newer tanks, but the head generation is not the same: choose an EC2, EC-A, EC-M/EC-N or EC-D coil instead, depending on the exact model.

Choosing the right value

The pack covers four values: 0.15, 0.3, 0.5 and 0.6ohm. The lower the number, the hotter the coil runs and the more vapour it delivers, for a fairly direct draw. A 0.5 or 0.6ohm value, on the other hand, suits a tighter draw, with more moderate e-liquid consumption.

Before the first puff

Always let the coil soak in e-liquid for a few minutes before vaping, wick side down if your tank allows it. This priming time avoids a burnt taste on the first puffs and extends the life of the coil.
