Replacement heads for BVC tanks

These BVC coils from Aspire are sold in fives. They fit the brand's small eGo-thread tanks, such as the CE5-S and the ET-S BVC. BVC means the heating wire is placed vertically in the bottom of the head, as close as possible to the liquid. Aspire also lists them for its Spryte, K1, K Lite and K1 Plus kits.

1.6ohm or 1.8ohm?

• 1.6ohm: from 6 to 11W (3 to 4.2V) according to Aspire, the value that is easiest to power.
• 1.8ohm: from 9 to 13W (4.2 to 5V), a slightly warmer puff when the battery allows.

Both are vaped mouth-to-lung (MTL): the vapour is held in the mouth for a moment then inhaled, as with a cigarette. It is a tight draw, economical on e-liquid.

How do I prepare a new BVC coil?

Put one or two drops of e-liquid on the cotton, screw in the head, fill, then wait a few minutes before the first puff to avoid a dry taste.

How long does a head last?

It depends on the e-liquid and the power. Change it as soon as the flavour fades or a burnt taste appears.
