Geekvape Aegis Hero Q Pod Kit

Aegis Hero Q: Aegis toughness in a pocket format

The Aegis Hero Q pod kit brings the rugged spirit of the Geekvape Aegis range into a body 82.91mm tall and 51.02mm wide. Rubber armour wraps the whole device to better withstand drops and knocks: a logical choice if your pod travels in a work pocket, a gym bag or a glove box.

Under this shell, a 1300mAh battery powers up to 30W, a power reached with a 0.4ohm pod. USB-C charging at 5V / 2A is fast: Geekvape quotes 90% in 25 minutes. A 0.54-inch OLED screen shows the power and the battery level. To vape, you have the choice: press the button or draw directly on the mouthpiece.

A dedicated airflow button steps the air intake through three levels. The most closed suits mouth-to-lung inhalation (MTL: the vapour is held in the mouth then inhaled, as you draw on a cigarette); the most open comes close to a restricted direct-to-lung (RDL) draw, freer and more vapour-rich.

Frequently asked questions

How do I adjust the airflow on the Aegis Hero Q?

It has a button reserved for the air intake, which lets you choose between three opening levels, from the tightest to the most open draw.

Why does the device not reach 30W?

Geekvape reserves the maximum power for the 0.4ohm pod. The pods supplied work lower: 18 to 25W for the 0.6ohm and 12 to 18W for the 0.8ohm.
