Soul 2: more battery life and a screen that disappears

The Soul 2 pod kit upgrades the Soul from Geekvape on what matters every day. The battery goes up to 2100mAh, the maximum power to 35W, and the 0.99-inch screen stays hidden under the shell until it lights up. At 108mm tall and 90.5g, with a finish that is both metallic and soft to the touch, it slips easily into a jacket pocket.

The vape fires on inhale or with a press of the button, and you keep control of the power as well as the airflow. The character of the draw depends mostly on the 4ml Soul Boost pod: the 1ohm (5 to 15W) serves mouth-to-lung (MTL) inhalation, tight like a cigarette; the 0.6ohm (15 to 30W) gives a more open MTL; the 0.4ohm (30 to 35W), sold separately, moves to the airier RDL draw. The battery accepts USB-C fast charging (5V / 2A).

Compatibility

The Soul 2 gains in battery (2100mAh instead of 1500mAh), in power (35W instead of 30W) and adopts a hidden 0.99-inch screen. It also accepts the Soul Boost 0.4ohm pod.

Why does the power stay under 30W?

The Soul 2 only exceeds 30W with the Soul Boost 0.4ohm pod. With the 0.6ohm or the 1ohm, the power stays within their intended range.

Which pod should I start with?

Try the 1ohm if you like to feel a tight draw, or keep the 0.6ohm installed for a little more vapour without losing the feel in the mouth.
