TC mode, and what it is for

TC stands for temperature control: the box mod limits the coil's heating to a chosen value, which requires a coil advertised as compatible (generally nickel, titanium or stainless steel). The supported resistance range goes from 0.15 to 3.5ohm, enough to cover low-resistance heads in DL as well as higher-resistance coils in MTL.
