An 18650 box mod paired with a tank using AF coils

The Boxxer kit from Aspire brings together an electronic box mod running on an 18650 battery and the AF Tank. It is aimed at vapers leaving a pod who want more settings without complicating life: the box goes up to 80W, but it is above all at ease at moderate power with AF coils, the very ones used by Flexus pods.

The battery is replaced in seconds: slide in a charged one and off you go, without waiting for a recharge to finish. It can also be charged directly in the box thanks to the USB-C port. The 0.96 inch colour screen shows power, coil resistance and battery level. On the AF Tank side, filling is from the top by pushing the cover, and an airflow ring under the drip tip sets the draw: tight for mouth-to-lung (MTL, as with a cigarette), intermediate (RDL) or more open for direct-to-lung (DL, the vapour goes straight to the lungs).

Compatibility

The AF Tank takes the AF Mesh Replacement Coils - 5 Pack in 0.4, 0.6 and 1ohm. If the tube scratches or cracks, the AF Tank replacement glass serves as a spare part. Frequently asked questions

Do I need to buy a battery separately?

Yes. The box runs on a single 18650 battery, sold separately. Once in place, you recharge it in the box with the supplied USB-C cable or in an external charger.

Which AF coil should I choose with the AF Tank?

The 1ohm (12 to 15W) gives a tight, discreet draw. The 0.6ohm (15 to 18W) offers a good balance between flavour and vapour. The 0.4ohm (20 to 28W) produces more vapour, with the airflow more open.

Is the Boxxer suitable for a beginner?

Yes, by staying in power mode at first: set the watts within the range written on the coil and leave the advanced modes aside. Just handle the 18650 battery with care.
