A versatile, well-protected single-battery box

The Aegis Max 2 kit, also known as the Max100, pairs a 100W box with the Zeus Sub-Ohm 2021 tank from Geekvape. It suits vapers moving to direct-to-lung inhalation (DL: the vapour is drawn straight into the lungs) who want a single device without juggling batteries. The box takes one 21700 battery, which you buy separately, and the supplied adapter lets you fit an 18650 battery if you already have one.

IP68 rated, it stands up to water, dust and everyday knocks. The 1.1-inch colour screen shows the power, adjustable from 5 to 100W, and a temperature control mode (100 to 315°C) is available for those who use it. Charging is via a USB-C port (5V / 2A). The 5.5ml tank fills from the top through a widened opening, and its top-mounted airflow reduces the risk of leaks.

Compatibility

Which battery should I choose for the Aegis Max 2?

A 21700 battery generally offers more battery life than an 18650. If you already have 18650s, fit the supplied adapter. In both cases, the battery is not in the box.

Yes. Max100 is the name Geekvape gave to the second Aegis Max, referring to its 100W maximum power.

Which coil should I install?

The 0.25ohm (45 to 57W) lets you start gently; the 0.2ohm (70 to 80W) gives more vapour but needs power close to the box's maximum.
