A strip coil for cloud vaping

The QF Strip coils from Vaporesso heat through flat bands, the "strips", made of Fe-Cr-Al, an alloy also called Kanthal. Their wick blends cotton and flax fibres. With their 0.15ohm value, they are intended for direct-to-lung inhalation (DL): the vapour goes straight to the lungs, with a very open draw and lots of volume. The box contains 3 identical coils.

Recommended setting

The box states a range of 50 to 80W, with the best results between 65 and 75W: you therefore need a box mod able to deliver this power. Start around 50W with a new coil and go up in small steps. At these settings, the tank empties quickly: remember to fill it before the wick dries out.

Compatibility

The QF Strip coils fit Vaporesso's SKRR and SKRR-S tanks. They share this base with the 0.2ohm QF Meshed, which heat through a mesh. iTank or NRG tanks use other coils and do not accept them. All the platforms are gathered in the coils category.

How do I know if my tank accepts QF coils?

The model name is on its box and in its instructions: SKRR and SKRR-S use this format. If you still have the original coil, compare its shape with the photo before ordering.

What should I do before first use?

Soak the wick through the large side openings, install the coil, fill the tank and let it rest for about five minutes. Then set your box mod at the bottom of the range.
