The Cyber S pod kit from Aspire is recognisable by its transparent face that shows the inside of the device, paired with a coloured back. Slim and light (54.5g), it is aimed at someone looking for an easy-to-use first pod or a back-up device to take everywhere. Its output voltage is fixed: no power to set, the pod does the work.

Three quick presses of the button change the firing mode: automatic draw, button only, or both together; an indicator lights up to confirm the choice. The draw setting is clever: depending on the direction you insert the pod, the airflow changes. You get mouth-to-lung (MTL, the vapour goes through the mouth first, as with a cigarette) or a more open restricted direct-to-lung (RDL). The built-in 700mAh battery charges over USB-C up to 2A.

Frequently asked questions

How do I change the draw of the Cyber S?

Remove the pod, flip it and put it back: the airflow is not the same in both directions. One direction gives a tight draw, the other a freer draw.

Which TSX pod should I choose, 0.8 or 1ohm?

Aspire designed both values for different nic salt strengths. The 1ohm suits a tight draw well; the 0.8ohm gives a little more vapour.

How is the pod filled?

The transparent pod fills from the side. A black version, found in some editions, fills from the top.
