Veynom Air: the power of a box mod in a pod format

The Veynom Air pod kit from Aspire is aimed at vapers who already have some bearings and want more than a simple pocket pod. Adjustable from 5 to 80W, it accepts a coil for a tight draw as well as a mesh head cut for vapour. Its small OLED screen shows the power, the coil value and the battery level, and heating is controlled with the button.

The 2800mAh built-in battery offers a good energy reserve and recharges over USB-C with a 2A current. The 5ml pod fills from the underside. On the side, a slider opens the airflow more or less. Almost closed, it gives a mouth-to-lung (MTL) inhaling draw: the vapour passes through the mouth first, like with a cigarette. Halfway, you get a restricted direct-to-lung draw (RDL). Wide open, with a low coil, it is direct-to-lung (DL) inhaling, the vapour going straight to the lungs.

Compatibility

The kit's pod takes the BP coils x5: 1, 0.6, 0.4, 0.3, 0.17 and 0.15ohm; only the BP Pro 0.15ohm is not designed for this pod. If you prefer not to change coils any more, the Veynom Air pods x2 have their own built in. What power should I set the Veynom Air to?

Follow Aspire's range for each coil: 10 to 16W with the 1ohm, 15 to 25W with the 0.6ohm, 25 to 35W with the 0.4ohm, 30 to 40W with the 0.3ohm, 45 to 55W with the 0.17ohm and 60 to 80W with the 0.15ohm. Start at the bottom of the range.

How do I lock the pod in a pocket?

Press the heating button three times quickly; repeat to unlock it.

Can I keep my BP coils from another Aspire device?

Yes, as long as you stay within the list above: the standard and mesh BP coils fit, not the BP Pro 0.15ohm.
