Aegis Nano: Aegis toughness in a pocket format

The Aegis Nano pod kit is the first model in the Nano range from Geekvape. Only 86mm tall, it takes the Aegis style with its glossy coloured frame and textured grip area. It is protected against splashes, dust and knocks: a device to carry in a pocket, a bag or round the neck thanks to the supplied lanyard.

Its built-in 800mAh battery charges over USB-C and delivers up to 30W. When you change pods, the device reads the coil value and adapts its power, with no action on your part. A 0.69-inch OLED screen shows the information. The 2ml pod is held by magnet, comes out with one movement and fills from the top; an airflow slider lets you open or tighten the draw to your taste.

Compatibility

The Aegis Nano works with Geekvape N pods, with a built-in coil: the 0.6ohm (from 20 to 25W) for more vapour and the 1.2ohm (from 11 to 14W) for a softer vape. Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the 0.6ohm and 1.2ohm pods?

The 0.6ohm works at higher power and gives more vapour. The 1.2ohm heats more gently, for mouth-to-lung inhalation (MTL) where the vapour goes through the mouth first, as with a cigarette.

When should I replace the pod?

As the coil is built in, change the whole pod as soon as the flavour goes flat or a burnt taste appears.

Do I need to set the power at every pod change?

No, the Aegis Nano recognises the pod in place and chooses a suitable power. Only the airflow remains to be adjusted to the draw you like.
