The electronic shisha head that sits on your hookah

The Proteus Neo kit from Aspire is an electronic shisha head (e-hookah): it replaces the usual bowl of your hookah. No more charcoal to light or tobacco to pack. You fill the tank with e-liquid, install the head on the stem of your shisha and draw: the vapour passes through the base and the hose as with a traditional shisha. Two silicone adapters of different sizes are supplied to fit most stems.

It fires simply when you draw, with no button. Its built-in 5700mAh battery handles long evenings and charges over USB-C, up to 2A. The 25ml tank fills from the top, and a dial on top adjusts the airflow for a more or less open draw. For best results, Aspire recommends a 30/70 PG/VG e-liquid, at 0 to 3mg/ml of nicotine, and waiting 5 to 10 minutes after filling to let the cotton soak.

Compatible tank and parts

Do I need to own a shisha?

Yes. The Proteus Neo only replaces the bowl: it sits on the stem of a hookah you already have, thanks to the silicone adapters.

Is there a button to vape?

No, just draw on the hose: the head fires on its own and stops as soon as you let go.

Which e-liquid should I use?

Aspire recommends a high-VG e-liquid (30/70 PG/VG) at 0 to 3mg/ml, for thick clouds and soft vapour.
